Imperial Optics is a Long Island, New York based company providing quality handcrafted Wooden Sunglasses with 100% polarized lenses.
The crew takes a backpacking trip over to the windy streets of Munich, Germany
where they seek out the thriving underground surf culture that exists even though there is no beaches anywhere.
After a 6 hour flight, 2 underground subway rides, and a half hour of longboarding we finally come to the
address given to Us by all of the locals. (Marstallstraße 3, 80539 München, Germany in case you were interested)
At this point we saw a crowd gathering along a a seemingly random inner city bridge and we just had to get a
closer look to see what all the buzz was about. As we approached the bridge we were totally taken back by the
overwhelming amount of barefoot German surfers that lined the sides of this river waiting for their turn to
take the drop.
At this point the spot had finally lived up to the hype as we had reached the hidden Mecca of surfing.
