Problem Identified: Three piece adjustable spring loaded hinges.
We at Imperial Optics use very special 3 piece spring loaded hinges that allow the hinges to have a small degree of play/flow. This is NOT a defect and if anything it is an advantage that this special hinge has above all other hinges.
Given that wood is not naturally flexible and human heads come in many different shapes and sizes we needed to develop a hinge that allowed the glasses to contort to the users head no matter what size it is.
Our Bidirectional flex technology also allows the arms of the sunglasses to self adjust when they are closed so that they sit even tighter when they are closed. This makes the sunglasses slimmer when closed and less susceptible to breakage when in transit.
You can also adjust the tightness of the glasses with the philips head screws located on the top of the frame and the bottom of the arms.
We suggest you consult a trained Optical professional before attempting to adjust any property of your glasses. If you decide to adjust your glasses without consulting a professional or the Imperial Optics Staff member you can potentially void your warrantee.
